Hello all, Happy New Year, and welcome to another Marketing the Magic Blog Post! Part of my New Years’ resolution is to write a post once a month and cover a range of topics about the magic of Disney and beyond! With work settling in and my motivation to share with you all Disney has to offer at an all-time high, I kick off this new year with one of my favorite projects of 2020, and that is Disney Snack Sunday!
This project came about because I was craving Disney Snacks those first few weeks in quarantine. At the time, I was living back home, and my mom encouraged me to try making Dole Whip myself, and therefore, #DisneySnackSunday was born! Every Sunday after, it became a family project to research and make a different snack from the parks. We would then share the process on Instagram and then share the leftover goodies with my extended family, making porch drop-offs around town. When I decided to move back down to Florida, without missing a beat, my friend Suzie and I picked up the segment and have been doing it ever since!
In celebration of 7 months of Disney Snack Sunday, I decided to share some of the highlights throughout its existence. Such topics that I’ll be discussing include recipes that covered, my favorites out of the lineup, recipes that I’d like to redo, and the recipes that tasted very similar to the exact snack at Walt Disney World. So, let’s get snacking!

Ones I Want to Retry
- Corn Dog Nuggets —> the flavor was there, but the execution wasn’t the best. The batter wouldn’t stick to the hotdog.
- Pizza Spring Rolls —> didn’t heat the oil enough, so they turned out soggy, but the flavor was there! I’m determined to get these down. It was suggested to try using an air fryer.
- Lunch Box Tart (with different flavors)
Which Ones Taste Like the Real Thing
- Mickey Beignets —> Disneyland’s version though, since they are Mickey shaped there.
- Tonga Toast & POG Juice —> I have made this multiple times since for brunch because it so delicious, also made POG mimosas.
- Totchos

Thank you so much for reading all about Disney Snack Sunday! This segment was much fun to do while in quarantine, and I am so thankful that it was something that Suzie and I were able to carry over when we both moved back to Florida. While I have decided to put this segment on hold, for the time being, I am very happy that this project gave me so much inspiration and joy at a time in which that was desperately needed.
I hope that this post inspires you to go out and make some of these recipes yourself! There are so many resources you can use to find recipes such as our board on Pinterest, look up accounts on Instagram such as Bethany Vinton that post recipes and step by step videos on how to make these snacks, or purchase the Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook by Ashley Craft and have all your favorite recipes in a cookbook! Until next time folks.
Keep Moving Forward
