According to Sally French, a travel writer for the New York Post, Disney’s US-based parks are respectively the #1 (Disneyland 14.6 million tags) and #3 (Walt Disney World 5.5 million tags) most “Instagrammed” spots in the world. With 4 Parks, 25 Resorts, 2 water parks, and a shopping center there are so many things for families and groups to do when they visit. Disney doesn’t waste any effort to make every inch of the resort the best it can be. This means being very detailed with their theming and making sure that every last detail is accounted for with the story they are trying to tell at each location. Here are a few of the most photographed places within the resort:
Walls of Disney
One of my personal favorite photo opportunities is the many themed walls of Disney! Disney goes above and beyond with their theming and over the past couple years with the rise of social media the various walls that go with the style of different areas of the parks have become a huge hit!
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Wall (Hollywood Studios)
Bubblegum Wall (EPCOT)
Neverland Wall (Magic Kingdom)
Hidden Mickey Wall (Animal Kingdom)
Beauty & the Beast Stainglass Window (Magic Kingdom)
Purple Wall (Magic Kingdom)
Spaceship Earth
Also referred to as the “Golfball”, Spaceship Earth is EPCOT’s iconic park structure that welcomes guest to the park. It’s also home to the ride of the same name that brings guests back in time to discover the history of mankind.

Tower of Terror
“Amidst the glitz and the glitter of a bustling young movie talent at the height of its golden age, the Hollywood Tower Hotel was a star in its own right.” One of my new favorite rides at Disney, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror looms down Hollywood Boulevard for all guests to see and tempt them to travel to the Twilight Zone.
Expedition Everest
Another of my favorite rides, Expedition Everest is one of Animal Kingdom’s most popular rides and offers great photo opportunities. The best time to take pictures (and ride) is right when the sun is setting. From the top of the hill, you can see out across the entire Walt Disney World property and at this time of the day it is absolutely gorgeous.

Tree of Life
Another popular photo spot is the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. This is the parks main structure and stands as the focal point when guests enter Animal Kingdom. It is composed of over 300 carved animals in its trunk and is home to the 3D show “It’s Tough to be a Bug”.

Cinderella Castle (Magic Kingdom)
Last but not least, the most Instagrammed location on property is Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom. When people think of Disney World this structure is what most people picture when traveling to the resort. Cinderella’s Castle sits right in the middle of the park and acts as the hub for the 6 different lands of the Magic Kingdom. It is the first thing guests see when entering the park from Main Street USA, and is visible from most areas of Magic Kingdom.
