One of my favorite Christmas traditions in my family is going to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This limited ticket runs from the beginning of November until Christmas on selected nights at the Magic Kingdom. The party allows guests to line up at around as early as 4pm to get into the park but closes the park at 7pm to the general public and annual passholders not attending the party. The party runs until midnight and hosts a variety of different amenities for patrons. Guests can enjoy unlimited Holiday snacks, special character meet and greets, a Christmas parade, Snow on Main Street, as well as shorter wait times for some of MK’s most popular rides.

We’ve been attending the Christmas party for the past 14 years and to say it is one of my favorite things at Walt Disney World would be an understatement. The Holidays at Disney can get pretty busy, so to have this option at a limited capacity and to experience the magic of Disney when they celebrate Christmas is something truly amazing! One of the best parts of the party, besides all the free snacks, would be that lines are way shorter than they are during this peak season. Especially during the Christmas parade or the Holiday Fireworks, you can basically walk right on popular rides like Space Mountain or Big Thunder Railroad.
As I mentioned before as well, the event offers special character meet and greets just for the party. Many of the characters are exclusive only to the Christmas party, like Santa Goofy and Scrooge. Others like Moana and Mary Poppins are not usually seen at MK but are brought it for the occasion
Special Character Meet & Greets include:

- Santa (Main Street USA)
- Mickey (Main Street USA)
